Fight the Signs of Ageing!

A very true quote from the Natural Glow article in the recent issue #3 of Naturally Australia Mag.

It rang true with me being 26 years old and still every new person I meet thinks I’m 19.
My friends around the same age on conventional diets are all showing varying degrees of ageing skin. Some of their bodies even look and behave much older.

Victoria recommends:
Reduce inflammation forming foods by eating less of or no sugary and starchy foods.
Upping your intake of antioxidant rich foods like blueberries, garlic, onions, cinnamon and turmeric, and dark green leafy vegetables, as well as alkaline rich foods to regulate your pH.
Stress less and control cortisol levels. Stress creates inflammation in the body. Make sure you’re getting 8 hours of undisturbed sleep and take up activities that reduce stress – yoga, walking, swimming, meditation.
Make sure to control your weight at an ideal level as according to research, ‘fat functions like an endocrine organ releasing hormones into the system prompting an inflammitory response’, instead of just being the storage of excess energy our bodies haven’t used.
